  • Behavior Technician Intern

    • To apply, you must:

      1. Q: Is RBT certification a requirement in order to apply?​​ A: No, RBT certification is not required in order to apply for the internship. If an applicant that is not certified as an RBT is accepted into the internship, the company will enroll the intern in, and cover the cost of, the 40-Hour RBT Course.

      2. Q: Is an internship required if I already am certified as an RBT? A: Yes, the internship is required for all Behavior Technicians hired by our company. The internship allows our staff to observe your skills, demeanor, and commitment; this trial period is a pre-requisite to obtaining a client caseload and allows the company to confidently attest to your suitability for the job. We much prefer to learn that you may not be a good fit for our company before services with families begin.

      3. Q: What are some examples of activities included in the internship experience? A: Observation of direct staff providing therapy services, completing training modules on curricula utilized in client programming, implementing behavioral skills with clients, responding to feedback and coaching provided by supervisor(s), debriefing with caregivers on client performance, observing supervisors conduct parent coaching, training on the employee handbook, training on health and safety procedures, and much more!

      4. Q: Is the internship paid? A: Yes, the internship offers hourly compensation. The compensation will be at a lower rate than that offered in your employment contract once you have completed the internship.

      5. Q: Are benefits available to Behavior Technicians? A: Yes. Upon successful completion of the internship, the applicant will be eligible for the following benefits as a Behavior Technician:

        • Pay based on degree and areas of specialized training/certification.

        • Earning Paid Time Off (PTO) based on hours accrued with the company.

        • Employer-matched retirement benefits.

      • Have BCBA or BCBA-D certification OR have RBT/BCaBA certification and are enrolled in an approved Verified Course Sequence of behavior analytic coursework (Master's Degree or higher)

      • Submit to and pass background checks

Q: Is certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required for this position?​​ A: Yes, applicants must be certified as a BCBA or BCBA-D OR be certified as an RBT or BCaBA and be enrolled in a behavior analytic verified course sequence toward a Master's Degree (or higher).

      2. Q: Are benefits available to Clinical Supervisors? A: Yes, Clinical Supervisors are eligible for:

Thinking about working with us? Our home office and original location is in Jesup, Georgia and we are currently staffing both our Jesup and Waycross, Georgia locations. The demand for services and supports in our area is high and funding for ABA services continues to expand each year in our state. We are one of only a handful of center-based providers in the area and pride ourselves on progressive, high-quality clinical services, as well as positive collaborative relationships with area school districts and agencies. Our clinic schedule, which runs from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Monday through Friday (no weekends), facilitates work-life balance and is especially helpful for staff with children. We encourage and support the professional development of our staff and serve as a university-approved practicum site for staff members seeking behavior analyst certification.
